I have a small box in class and my kids place their empty water bottles there. Yipee! Once it's full, I will choose a pupil to bring them to the recycling bin which is beside the P.E. room. They are learning to recycle, reuse and reduce.
"A recycled water bottle, for example, can be made into T-shirts, combs, or hundreds of other plastic goods that can be used for many years."
To explain the word "grow", I decided to embark on a little project in school. I planted some Petunia seeds and now, we're all waiting and watching them grow.

The Mooncake Festival or Lantern Festival is celebrated in September. On the 14 September, the moon is at its fullest and children will be playing with their lanterns while their parents would eat mooncakes and sip some Chinese tea.
There are so many varieties of mooncakes. They have different fillings such as durian, ice cream, chocolate, strawberry, cream cheese, yoghurt and others you never imagine of.
Most people still prefer the traditional mooncake with lotus filling and salted duck eggs.
