N3 LS Treasure Trail

On the 30 August I took 20 LSP pupils to an event organised by the LSCs of the N3 Cluster.
The purpose of this, was to expose and enrich our pupils experiences. Give them an opportunity to make presentations to boost their self esteem and self confidence and to learn from others.
The emphasis is learning through fun and memorable experiences.

08-08-08 Summer Olympics

A day before the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics in Beijing, The People's Republic of CHINA, I explained the whole Olympic story to my LSP kids. I was surprised a few of them had been to Beijing!

I spoke to them about the Olympic mascots, the five Fu Wa, and how each represented a colour of the Olympic rings. After the lesson, they rushed to buy the Fu Wa keychains that were being sold at the school bookshop. I was amazed that they knew all the names of the mascots - Bei Bei, Jing Jing, Huan Huan, Ying Ying and Ni Ni, which means Bei Jing Huan Ying Ni, or Beijing Welcomes You!
